Black Pepper Compote

This black pepper and zucchini compote has a tangy, sharp flavor. It is excellent with all types of pecorino cheese, but also with soft, fresh flavorful cheeses, especially blue cheeses and sheep’s milk ricotta. It can accompany smoked fish such as tuna, swordfish and salmon. It is excellent with roasted meat, grilled tenderloin, and boiled meat.
